About K-system

Historical records of K-system date back to 1991. All innovations that have since reached homes, offices, and various companies stem from our efforts. This was made possible by our ambitious goal to become a successful manufacturer of shading technology, primarily supported by our foreign licensing suppliers, whose experience we adopted. This strategy has always been and continues to be the highest guarantee of the high and stable quality of our produced products. K-system places great emphasis on utilizing modern technologies in production and dedicates significant effort to its innovation, always in parallel with the development of our own products. The goal is to achieve increasingly better production quality, extend the lifespan of products, improve their properties, and expand the product range.

In 2002, K-system became the first company in Slovakia to label its products with the K-system trademark. From that moment, customers knew who the true manufacturer of the supplied products was, and they were also assured of guaranteed service.

In 2009, the company moved to a new, representative headquarters in Žiar nad Hronom with a modern production hall. However, investments in manufacturing technologies did not stop with the construction of the new production hall. Production is continuously innovated and improved. In 2011, a powder coating line was launched in the former premises in the village of Kosorín, which allows for shorter delivery times for non-standard color finishes.

Awards

In the past, K-system has received numerous prestigious awards:

• Furniture and Living Fair Award in 2002 for the Prominent Z-90 exterior blind,  
• Honorable Mention at the ForARch Exhibition in 2005 for the "Nobarrier" pleated door screen – for the application of the latest materials in the solution for insect protection on large facade openings,
• 5th best employer in Slovakia in 2007,
• MODDOM 2008 award for innovative solutions in shading technology,
• Honorable Mention at the PRO ARCH Exhibition in 2010 for the innovative Prominent LUX exterior blind, 
• Placement in the TOP 50 Slovak brands ranking, etc.

We are proud of the fact that in a very short time, the K-system brand has become not only the first, well-known, but also a popular and sought-after brand of high-quality shading technology. Our many years of experience in both the domestic and international markets have made us a leader in the field of shading technology.

Since April 2018, K-system has been ensuring compliance with established standards through its own internal auditor.
