Fixed sun blinds
Description
Fixed sun blinds consist of aluminum slats of various shapes and lengths, and are designed as a horizontal shading system. They perfectly complement the range of Prominent exterior blinds by K-system, as they are made from materials used in the production of exterior blinds.
Fixed sun blinds are a suitable alternative for shading:
- For small glazed areas where it is not possible to create such a small functional exterior blind.
- In places where it would not be possible to place or control an exterior blind in any way.
- In areas where shading is required, but tilting of the slats, raising, or lowering is not necessary.
- For atypical windows.
- Where specific colors are required.
The fixed construction of the sunshade is mounted on the facade, usually in front of the window. It is made of specially surface-treated aluminum. Depending on the choice, slats of types Z-90, S-90, S-75, or C-80 are placed into the structural frame. In this type of sunshades, the position of the slats is fixed, with an angle range from 0° to 90° available. This system effectively protects the building from excessive sunlight, especially when the sun is high in the sky. It is primarily used on south-facing windows. One advantage of K-system's fixed sunshades is that both the slats and the frame are available in any RAL color according to the customer's selection.

Technical data
The sunshade is typically made from a three-sided aluminum frame, which is joined with an aluminum corner bracket. Aluminum slats are attached to the frame at the desired angle using connectors.
The anchoring material and its quality are equally important components of the sunshade. During installation, we exclusively use certified fastening and anchoring materials, ensuring strong connections and secure anchoring.

Maintenance
Fixed sunshades are maintenance-free. Under no circumstances should you treat the sunshades with a wire brush or in a similar manner, as this could scratch the top protective layer and degrade the blinds. Simply wipe them with a damp cloth and mild detergent or rinse with a gentle stream of water.

General warranty conditions

- The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects that prevent the product from functioning properly.
- The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for consequential damages or liability for the product beyond Slovak law.
- If a defect is visible upon unpacking the product, do not install it or have it installed, and promptly file a complaint with your supplier.
- The warranty does not cover the loss of original color in invisible areas, discoloration, or fading caused by sunlight, condensation, acid rain, salt droplets, or any conditions resulting in corrosion or material change, as well as natural color variations in fabric, aluminum, and wood decor. It also does not cover minor imperfections that do not significantly affect the appearance.
- The warranty does not cover any imperfections from the customer's perspective that are caused by adherence to the manufacturing process and applicable standards. For custom products, certain limitations during handling must be expected, and these limitations cannot be the subject of a complaint.
- The manufacturer's warranty also does not cover defects or damages that are a direct or indirect result of:

a) Incorrect installation (the warranty is covered by the installation company)
b) Improper use and failure to follow the operating and maintenance instructions
c) Use of inappropriate spare parts, accessories, or power sources (e.g., electrical power supply)
d) Transport or any other form of handling
e) Interference with the mechanism or modification of the product
f) Natural disasters, inadequate ventilation, and high humidity.
